British Triathlon is the National Governing Body for Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquathlon in Great Britain, responsible for raising the profile and delivering medal-winning performances and helping everyone discover, enjoy and achieve in triathlon.
Triathlon England is one of the three Home Nations of British Triathlon, the other two being TriathlonScotland and Welsh Triathlon. The three Home Nation Associations are responsible for all aspects of triathlon in their respective countries, and contribute to the work of British Triathlon.
British Triathlon are looking to appoint an Administrative Support Assistant to provide extensive administrative and secretarial support to the EM Regional Manager.
The role is to support the Regional Manager (East Midlands) to cover the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire and Nottinghamshire. The Regional Manager plays a major role in contributing to the development of triathlon at grass roots in England. You will have a natural talent for assisting the Regional Manager in supporting their work in developing strong relationships and close collaborations with key individuals, clubs, event organisers and other stakeholders including; local authorities, leisure providers and County Sport Partnerships. The role requires you to assist the Regional Manager in being able to support, advise and deliver Triathlon England’s national and regional programme.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract with funding provided from Access until 27th March 2020.
The role will be based at Nottingham Trent University, Clifton Campus NG11 8NS; however, the nature of the role may require the odd evening and weekend working and occasional travel.
